Really? Not too cheesy? I like the game and The Rock, but there seems to be quite a bit of cheese factor. (Though after reading what I typed, Doom the video game plus Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, might be in and of itself a cheese forumula.)

I shall still check it out though.

my son is a big fan of the game and the The Rock as well, and he said the movie was kick-butt. He said if you liked "Aliens" you'll like this. I personally think the Rock has the acting chops to go far in Hollywood. I may check it out just on his merit alone. Ah-nold may a huge mark in TinselTown without half the acting ability Dwayne Johnson has.

I thought it was okay. Wished they did something to get me more into it. I think could have been better written. Oh well.

Can you smell it???

Is it scary at all?

I'm terrified by the game. When I first bought it I shut all the lights in my room and it didn't take long before I turned all the lights back on and started shooting before I went around a corner.

The game will probably always be scarier than the movie. You can't play the movie!

Agree with the previous post... the Game will be more scary...however there are a few nail biting sceens. But I think it is more of a balance kind of scary...

Scary
Funny (yes a few spots)
Action
Drama

What Really KILLS ME! is the critics saying "the movie sucked, all they did was kill and die and kill, No plot"

All I can think of is Mind OF Mencia!

DER DER DER! -- DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THE GAME IS ABOUT!

The Critics gave it a D-
The fans gave it a B+

Go Figure

I saw it the other day and thought it was a waste of six bucks. I has one hell of a time getting past the fact that they are so far in the future and they are relying on flashlights. I mean come on the modern day soldier has night vision goggles issued to them.
