Does anyone know how long you have to wait between purchases for them to count as your next reward. I have heard 3 and 5 days. I need to buy lots of routine maintenance stuff for my daughter's new car. I figure if I buy it all slowly, I can get a $20 credit by the end.

1. water pump
2. seafoam, air filter, coolant
3. fuel filter, spark plugs
4. Oil & filter, sepentine belt
5. trans fluid & filter

$20 credit

from what I was told, as long as your purchase is over $20 before tax, it counts. Regardless, I need well over $120 in stuff so I should be able to milk this out. I drive right by one on my way to work, so I am not going out of my way or wasting time & gas.

I don't condone doing this with the economy the way it is, everybody is struggling even your local auto parts store, but......About a year ago I made 2 purchases in 1 visit. I asked the checker if it was cool and he said "I don't want to be a dick about it, you'd just walk out to your car and come back in if I didn't".
I buy oil and filters all the time for rewards.....
Not sure if it varies state to state, or if it has changed over time.

I have done the same thing as crimpton in the past. I guess it depends on the clerk.

You can use it once in 24 hours. So the next day you can use it again. I use mine alll the time, I love that 20 credit every few purchases.
