Was it just me or does it seam like IRL takes way too long of a yellow for debris on the track? Seven laps for a mirror? Plus I don't think I've ever seen so many cautions come late in a yellow. You'd think some of those drivers have never driven the cars before. I also think ABC did a poor job overall with the broadcast the only thing I liked was the side by side simulbroadcast durring commercials and how they would cut away from the commercials when something happened. Durring the 600 DW was getting on my nerves when he started quoting "numeralogy" It seemed like he was jinxing the drivers. Everytime he'd say you know only 3 of the last drivers who lead at lap/mile such and such would have something catastropic happen.

I enjoyed watch both of races on TV. Yeah that caution took too way long. I feel bad for Sarah Fisher who got nowhere to go. I met her couple years ago. She is neat person. Danica Patrick need her head calm down lol

I don't like Kasey but he got lucky after Tony blew his tire during leading in couple laps to go. I'm Jr fan so I'm happy he got finish 5th in his junk car after blown tire during leading. He got really lucky for gas mileage at end of race.

I watched both races. I wasn't dissapointed with either. I don't watch Indy cars enough to comment on the amount of time spent on caution laps. I was amused at Sarah Fisher crying after hitting the wall.... I kept thinking of Tom Hanks in "A league of their own".... I said out loud "Your crying! There's no crying in racing!"
Any NASCAR race is a good race when Kyle Busch is not winning.... wink

I'm amazed at how far those cars will run on batteries alone. If it was for that late pit stop Kyle probably woulda won even with a battery change.

She didn't hit wall. She hit cart that spin front of her. I'm not IRL fan but I only watch Indy 500. I have no idea she is owner/driver team. Reason she was crying because she is short on money for this team. Maybe she has one cart that totalled in accident? I don't know.

Oh yeah, I'm glad Kyle Busch didn't win. I'm very pissed that he spin Jr couple weeks ago. I keep waiting when are Jr going to win for end winless streak race?

Isn't she the one that spun out late in the first yellow? That really shocked me. How do you spin out when your paced around the track?

I haven't been a fan of open wheel since IRL split from CART and told CART if you wanna run indy you run our cars. This was the first 500 I've watched since then. I don't care for it anymore it's not the greatest race anymore. Remember when you could run what ever you wanted? There were diesel powered cars, turbine powered cars a multitude of chassis's and engines. It's just not the same. Just another IRL race. Too bad CARTs management got too big for it's britches and ruined the sport. Did you guys realize that F1 uses ABS, Traction Control, Yaw control etc etc? I guess that's not paying as well either since so many big name openwheel guys have jumped ship to drive NASCAR.

Yeah, she did spin herself but didn't hit anything. She was trying warm up her tires in corner. Bad mistake. It costs her 2 laps down because of her car didn't start eek

I keep hoping one day that since NASCAR has the COT on the track that maybe GM, Ford, Chrysler will put more name plates back on the track. Since they don't have to build bodies to comply. How nice would it be to see a field of Chevy, Ford, Dodge, Pontiac, Buick, Mercury, Chrysler, Caddillac, Lincoln etc etc. I mean they are all the same car just different stickers so...

Yeah but I'm not fan of COT. I know they are safe race car. I know they are all same car with different brand sticker. I kind like Ford, Chevy, Dodge and Toyota body so whoever have best car to win. I guess that's life and I have to deal with COT stuff.

I'd rather see modified street cars off the showroom floor racing again. Race on Sunday, sell on Monday. Any race is so sanctioned now, it ruins any fun or individuality. I sometimes watch the Australian V8 races and American LeMans.
