So I was running some errands at the mall here in town, which is across from Daytona Speedway.
A few cars ahead of me pulling out onto ISB (International Speedway Boulevard), and the last car (car in front of me) is a early 2000s black SS camaro with young driver.
So I wanted to catch up to him as he made is right turn.
So the road way is four lanes, and we catch a red light.
He is in far right, I am in 2nd from left.
I see 3 young dudes in the car.
Their windows down, mine up.
There is a car in between our lanes.

So the burly passenger looks at my car and begins to do a fingers to palm "bye-bye" wave.
So I drop it to 3rd.
So we take off and I loose traction right away.
They have a car length on me.
I let off, regained traction and mashed it again.
Car took off like a raped ape and I flew passed the SS.
By the way car kr*ing 7. Ouch.

So we meet two lights up.
Lined up again, but being a huge intersection and full of traffic, I figure there is a cop hiding somewhere, and
I got my thrill already.
So I didn't race again.
I rolled window down as I hit the highway north and they went south and thumbs upped as the burly dude kinda waved.

I think we've all done a little "stoplight challenge" in our time,or maybe some highway "blasting"...but I guess the urge fades with time and age.

Nowadays I prefer to "open mine up" in the most desolate location possible...aside from a good freeway on ramp
