Have a great holiday everyone. Be safe. Don't over indulge. But most importantly have a great time wether it's with friends or family.

Had a decent Thanksgiving, despite nearly destroying the GTP.
On my way to Panama City from Daytona.
Was late, 11pm, and after driving most of the way, I let the gf drive the last leg.
Was back in the country and was foggy and some smog.
I was in and out of sleep.
She was going 55mph or so, faster than I would be driving given how dark it was and not seeing more than a few car lengths ahead due to fog.
Well a damn Possum crawls out and she swerved like no other.
Over corrected and we began back and forth fish tailing before winding up backwards in the other lane, partly in the grass.
A driver behind us, 1/2 mile back, stopped to make sure we were alright.
I have small rubber dust all over the car.
I'm not sure if the GTP handled better or worse than I expected.
4 people in the car, and a full spare tire and trunk for of luggage, 17.5lb turkey and tools.
Figured the rear end was quite heavy which in turn slung the car around alot.
Glad we made it safely and the GTP lives to prowl the streets some more.

Hope the rest of you had a safe Thanksgiving.

That's why you never swerve to avoid an animal.
