The other day I was at the local Chevy $tealer$hip and my service rep had told me that they could re-time my Camaro's windshield wipers for about $50. She had also said that it could be as easy as going into the BCM and re-tuning the wiper timing. Does anyone know if the PowerTunr and the BCM can talk back and forth like that? Thanks, yall.

That sounds like dealership double talk to me..there's a circuit board in the wiper motor cover that can cause problems, or it may have a bad wiper switch on the steering column. Here's a few windshield wiper gremlins for you: http://ls1tech.com/forums/tags/wipers.htmlHope that helps track down yours..

That's what I was imagining. Thanks, Zal. I wonder if the BCM can be "tuned" like the service advisor was saying...anyway, I have a post on LS1Tech anyway, just to be sure. Thanks for the input, fellas.

To do anything with the BCM you need a Tech II. It's GMs diagnostic tool/programmer.
I've seen a few on ebay, but they're hella lot of money.

I don't know what all they can or can't do with them. I just know that they are super handy to have if you can afford one. :P
