Someone had to say it,I suppose you know he's deaf? Not that I can figure out how this effects his typed language but I do agree it's difficult to read through,Palsut maybe if you put a little effort into your written language it would help,I do'nt mean to sound harsh and if your not able to construct sentences in proper english I apoligize.Chico(pops)

Okay, ummm about winter beater... If I put downpipe only. It is kill u-bend but what if I keep stock exhaust tailpipe? Will it help mpg or I need to get whole exhaust system just like I did my summer car?
Wow... I knew it will back again. I'm deaf so sorry if my typing is suck. If you don't like it then use block user under my name so you won't read it again if they have one. I use ASL language. I born deaf and went deaf school since 4th grade. What can I do about that? That's my habit but everyone seems understand me.

a downpipe and u-bend delete will help your mpg, and will retain your stock cat-back, which flows just fine.

if I were you I would save myself the $200 and just replace the u-bend and forget about the larger DP.
I don't think the 3.1 is pushing that much exhaust that it needs one.
