When World of Warcraft: Classic launches in the summer of 2019, it is going to be as close of an authentic diversion as possible to Warcraft since it existed in 2006 when spot 1.12 was released. However, the good news, is that doesn't mean Gold in WoW Classic will be a game. Revealed at a panel through Blizzcon this weekend, game manager Ion Hazzikostas took the stage to show Classic's post-launch update plans, which include all of the major raids and events out of vanilla World of Warcraft.

"We know that World of Warcraft, especially back then, was going on a travel," Hazzikostas stated before announcing that Classic would have"staged content unlocks" that would mimic much the same tempo of a regular MMO. Meaning that, every few months after launching, Classic players can look forward to fresh raids, dungeons, and events.

The very first phase of these new activities include the raids of Molten Core, Onyxia, and the Dire Maul dungeon in addition to the entire world directors of Kazzak and Azuregos. After that,"when people are prepared," World of Warcraft: Classic will include Blackwing Lair, battlegrounds as well as the PvP reward program, and Zul'Gurub. Observing that release will come Ahn'Qiraj, Silithus world content, as well as the green dragons.

If you didn't play with World of Warcraft back afterward, the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj was one of WoW's hardest events ever--still towering over everything because. This scepter is used to ring a gong that opens the Gates, unleashing hell as the insectoid Qiraji invade across all of Azeroth.

What's awesome, though, is that just 1 individual per server gets to own the scepter, ring the gong, and earn the honorific of Scarab Lord. One of these people was Destiny two game manager Luke Smith, who told me his tale.

After Ahn' Qiraj, Classic will get content in the form of Scourge invasion and the Naxxramas raid. Hazzikostas reported that all of this is still a work in progress, however, and Blizzard would work in tandem with lovers to work out how to stage and time every one of these upgrades. Still, however it falls right into place, it's very good to know that World of Warcraft: Classic will not be a static MMO with a limited endgame.
