well my trans just broke AGAIN :rolleyes: when it shifts to 2ed it bucks the car, liek a person who cant drive a stick. I beleave its eather in the valve body, or im just starting to lose second gear  now i gotta take another weekend to go back to grandrapids  it set an ses light so my buddy is bringing his scanner here in about 30 mins, il see what teh code is.

Check the torque converter's wiring connector. Unplug it and drive it again.
Does the torque converter seem like its functioning normally? (Take it on the highway and set the cruise, tap your brake, see if the rpms jump ~100 for a second)
Guess if I ever get a ZZP tranny, I'll take the ext warranty!

I'm not getting a zzp tranny based on the problems 2fast's experienced in other threads + this one.

The first time it happened, I was doing about 50MPH, giving slight throttle..... BAM I thought somebody hit me, or something big broke, and I noticed the SES light. After that it would do it between every gear. I took out the Interceptor, cleared the code and went racing with no problems.

well my trans is now running better than ever,
well i went out to my car this morning and checked teh codes it set with a scanner i just bought last night, and i cleared all the codes, shazamm!! i take it for a spin and its fine, now with about 200 more miles on it its better than ever. thats the only thing i did.
now clearing the code shouldent have anything to do with it running correctly now so.. it cant be mechanicle or it would still be doing it, correct? so that leaves 2 other options, the computer just freaked out for some reason or its something electrical.
any more ideas?

well its still acting ok, but i talked to Zooom and Steve the trans guy so im takeing it in tomaro and have them go through it.
i got wendsday off school so im leaving right after school on tuesday.
