I got tired of waiting for decent set of used togs with down pipe. All the ones I seen were around 400 500 and you would need to provide a down pipe. So yesterday I went ahead and ordered a new set of SSAC's. Is the crossover setup for slip fits or are they clamp on? If not I'm going to have a shop weld the crossover to the rear header and then have them make a slip fit for the front. I will ride the flex until a. it breaks, or b. I get annoyed with it.

One question on the welding, is it possible to have the welding done off the car? Or does it have to be mocked up and tig welded on the car, and then remove it and have it fully welded?

the SSAC's are the SLP knockoffs so they will have a decent fit. The OBX headers are the pacesetter knockoffs and not a good fit at all.

they're not even pacesetter knockoffs, pacesetters don't have to be cut and rewelded to fit our vehicles like the OBX ones do.

Where would the best spot to be for an o2 bung for a wideband?

From innovate's website: "Do NOT install the Bung below the 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock position.
Condensation can form in the exhaust pipe and permanently damage the sensor.
6 o’clock is the absolute worst position to mount the sensor."

Other than that, just make sure it's before the cat and you should be fine, I'd put it on the downpipe.

Anything I may need for the install? I got a new o2, exhaust gaskets and a tb gasket to seal off the the coolant passage since I have to take the tb off to install the headers.

Theres no possible way to get a complete weld on the slip fits on the car... but make sure to get a ZZP flex section.

Might wanna block off the EGR while youre at it if youre able to, mine leaked pretty bad... Dont forget to get a ratchet strap for engine tilting.

FYI use the stock gaskets but just scuff them up, also use Copper RTV inside the slip fits if youre not welding (Probably should weld atleast the whole DP.)

Yea I recently took off the evap and I have a block off plate coming for the EGR.

So it is possible to have the crossover welded with out a mock up?
