i read somewhere that the best plugs for a gt are the NGK TR55 V-Power copper @.055” gap, zzp sells them for 14 dollars but it seems advance auto parts sell them for about a buck and a half. what the difference between the two besides the obvious gapping difference, which you can change yourself.

I just did some searching on here for 01gt to find him some plugs. Rook stated get Iridiums. I also see statements for Platinums for NA applications. You can also go to Autolite.com and type in your car and you'll get a list of plugs to use. Those might be on there. Copper is good for s/c apps because it can dissapate heat quickly. It's not needed for NA apps and something that may burn hotter would be.
IIRC.

For non-boosted apps, a platinum or iridium plug is best. Not only do they last longer, but the spark is more efficient and burns hotter. Us boosted guys avoid them because it makes hot spots that can cause KR under boost. NA guys don't have to worry about that and can benefit from the more powerful spark.

I'm running NGK's IX series iridiums in my Stratus.

I would not say that platinum or iridium plugs give a more powerful spark. Those plugs will just last longer. I went with AC Delco platinim in mine. I don't plan ti keep the car more than 3 years. The stock iridiums looked pretty good with 107K on them. I changed my dad's bonneville's stock iridiums and they had 131K and were getting bad.
