I have an analog DIC with traction control.
Is it possible to upgrade to the digital version?
Is it a plug and play thing, or cutting into the wiring harness?
Will all the digital features work?

I'd say give it a try. An alternative is to contact the dealer.

what are the differences in the two. if you have time, the dash comes off easy, so i don't think it would take long to see if it would work.

I called our dealers parts department.. they dont know. I dont know what the Digital DIC looks like in the back wiring compared to mine, so even if I got mine apart I wouldnt know what to look for.

I've heard some cars are equipped with both the analog and digital harnesses. Not sure if it's true or not.. I used to try and convince my friend to take his digital one out and let me try hooking it up in my car, but he never wanted to take it out...I've tried purchasing them off eBay, but I always get outbid and they go for like $60 or so. If anyone else knows anything about it, please fill us in!

the dealership will tell you they don't know to get you to come in. If you don't pay them, they don't help you!

Try all of your local dealers.
You may find one that is knowledgable about your car.

I've heard that the wiring is the same in most cars. This is just "hear/say", but it may be true.
