I don't think one is better than another. It's just a matter of preference. Like for me I am going to go with the 40's instead of the Super 40's because I don't need or want a very loud exhaust. Regular loud is just fine with me

Yeah my bad. This Paint program is terrible and I don't have photoshop. I'll fix it but until then enjoy the billboard of my car.

Super 40s are quieter than original 40s. Super 40s are also called Deltaflows. Anyway, Super 40s help you avoid interior drone issues.

There were Original 40s, DeltaFlow 40s and Super 40s. Original 40s were, obviously, the original design, the Deltaflow 40s were made with another chamber and probably some other stuff, to cut down on interior noise. They're quieter than Originals. Super 40s just don't give a crap about people's eardrums. They're louder and bigger than the other 40s. You could consider the 50 series, too. They're quieter than any of the 40s, iirc.

Hmmm, I thought they had the same part numbers? Oh well.  Post Edit: According to Flowmaster's website Super 40s are similar to original 40's, but use Delta Flow tech resulting in lower interior drone than the originals. There is a separate "40 Delta" that is quieter though.
