Check out HercMan's website. He has some tips.
The stores to check out are:
www.pfyc.com
www.zzperformance.com

Also check out this tech article:

Recommend avoiding the MSD coil packs. A lot of AC Delco parts work a lot better than aftermarket ones.
U-bend delete, CAI, New PCM, and a 3" downpipe are known to provide THE best bang for the buck.

The only way to make decent power and stay N/A is a cam and compression bump (30k shaved heads)and of course supporting mods like intake and exhaust.Chico.

The only ones who use it, to my knowledge, are ZZP sponsored. $1400 is a lot for just a stroking kit, but then they say you'll make 250whp with the swap. No idea if that includes supporting mods or not.

i think 1400 is a little out of my price range at the moment. becasue you will have all of the hidden costs and plus i cant afford not haven the car to drive for a while ... so i think bolt on things would prolly be the best. i think i am going to buy a u-bend deleat pretty soon because they are really reasonable. and then as soon as spring and summer comes around i am blacking out the windows and adding a cold air intake and a exhaust system. and maybe a pcu

EGR delete isn't that great. The EGR actually helps increase gas mileage. With a fairly stock engine, I'd keep it. You'll also need something to trick the computer to keep it from throwing a code.

So what about the U-bend deleat....i have been thinking about getting one of these and then bringing it to my local shop and have them putting it in.... has everyone been somewhat happy with these? and then next i think i am going to go with an intake. a K&N. and then and exhaust system.... what do some people have for there systems and are they happy with them??

You'll be nothing but happy with a ubend delete.

I love K&N filters, but their kit for this car is lacking. If you want K&N, buy a cone and make a custom intake (like me). Otherwise, there are much better options out there that are more effective at funneling cool air to the intake. My K&N cone was $32... so pipe and couplings and your out less then $50. Box it in and you're still out less than $75.

The only thing in the exhaust that will make a difference is a new downpipe. Might I suggest you buy the ZZP 2.5" downpipe. It will not only let the engine breathe better, it will take care of the ubend as well. It will not affect your torque like the 3" either. The only time you "need" a new exhaust is if you're blown and need a 3" for the engine to breath. Otherwise, keep it stock and swap the mufflers/tips. Save the money and put it to where it's useful if you're going for power.
