I have a regular 3.4" pulley in my hands right now, but I'm seriously considoring returning it to pfyc.com (never used) and getting credit for the quick change pulley system. This way, as I see it, its worth it because the pulley only has to be pulled once, and only one other thing (the hub) pushed back on, so it does as little damage as possible.

I need to know 2 things.

1) what is the stock pulley size?
2) is there any downside to this system? Are the pulleys heavier? is there less hp gains?

Thanks.

Hello,

1. Stock Pulley is 3.8".
2. No downside.
3. I'm sure you've heard this, but....Be sure to use the proper tool. You may destroy your snout using a 3 prong puller.

Later now,
Clint

I planned on renting the pulley tool from ZZP. Something about second generation puller? I assume since it is ZZP it is more than adequate.

Hello,

You are correct about the ZZP tool.
The wrong puller would be the kind you would buy in your local auto store.

Bryan P,

Thank you. One of the first people to realize that you will be putting less stress/possible damage on your snout. The pulleys are all very lite i thinkt they are an alluminum alloy. correct if wrong

Peace,

Z
