need some help deciding. a local guy has a front manifold he ported himself, selling for $100. i have heard plogs are a ton better, but a lot more $$ then i want to pay. im N/A, with a pcm, intake, and catback, with goals of mid to high 14s in the qtr mile. my fastest run is 15.3

is the DIY ported front mani worth it for $100? confused

Not worth a $100 for a DIY.

Get the PLOG.

Is the rear plog from zzp worth getting? I have the front one and am wondering if the back is also worth getting?

no, the back isn't restrictive. if you are replacing the rear one then just get headers.

the rear plogs are more for turbo cars than anything.

Not retrictive for you mods, but there is room for improvement, in any aspect of the exhaust system. To utilize the improvement, you'll need a tune.

Plog for sure and if your buying used have the welds checked for cracks,a ported diy from is a waste of time and certainly not worth $100 ,and the rear plog is for a turbo setup you can buy or diy a rear port and if done properly will help some and make sure your updating your down pipe to take advantage of any improvements otherwise you create a bottleneck.Chico(pops)

I'll be getting a custom tune here soon by someone of MNClubGp. I'm pretty happy there not charging much and it'll be alot cheaper then a PCM and I can go back to him if i need any codes deleted, etc.
