My right front caliper is shot because when I brake hard, the right side of the car shakes, its sticking like crazy.

So I will be replacing the front calipers, front rotors, and front brake pads. I want to order them off ebay because its the cheaper route and inspection is coming up for my car at the end of december and I figure I mine as well get everything redone.

I will be painting my new calipers red as well before I put them on, what kind of paint should I use.

What brand name is good for brake pads and rotors.

I will be ordering these off ebay tommorow soon as I get paid.

I will really appreciate anything guys.

R1 rotors. Hawk performance ceramic pads. Calipers just go to the parts store and get a rebuild kit. As for paint I can't remember the name of it. The brush on type.

I swear by PowerSlot slotted rotors and Hawk HPS pads.

The debate as to which rotors and pads have taken PAGES worth of discussion on this website. It pretty much comes down to what you want to put on the car.

Ceramics are known to squeal, while the high-performance pads are really agressive with brake dust.

Either way, make sure you're making the most of surface area, using LocTite, and lube those floating pins.

Hercman- What do you mean by a rebuild kit for the calipers? I thought you just go to a part store and by them.

I will have somebody putting these items on next week because I have no time to do anything because Im working alot of overtime until after christmas.

Since you'll be replacing calipers along with the rotors and pads, consider replacing the front brake hoses as well. hammer

My brake lines are fine, not leaking or anything!

Is replacing the brake lines a normal routine when you replace calipers? Whats the benefit of having new brake lines put in.
