It came with the knock sensor module already on it, do I still need to switch or leave it on there, and leave the stock PCM as is?

Thanks in Advance!
Keith

Switch it. This way you won't need to have a case learn performed.

Thanks Austin,

I did, I'm just letting it idle for a couple of minutes. Did you do anything special when you put yours in?

It might run a little rough for the first couple of days, but it'll clear up and everything will be fine. Not everyone notices this, but some do.
What size pulley do you have?
Any plans in the near future for that 3" D/P?

notontopic Speaking of PCMs, I want to change mine over the winter. I have the 180 t-sta, just have to put it in, and I have to change the plugs, what would be better to do first, change the PCM or the s/c pulley?

PCM. Pulley without the PCM will create KR. The PCM will help control it. A 3" D/P will also help matters.

Bobby,

Sorry I didn't get to check back, wife and kids on the computer yesterday. I have a modular 3.4 pulley, and do plan to get the 3" down pipe. Could you cause long term damage running a 3.4 pulley before the PCM, ubend, and down pipe. That's how I ran before all of this. Everything seems fine though.

The pulley is the only mod listed that will actually cause KR.
The other 3 mods help control it.
All cars react differently. You may not have any problems with it, but you might have problems with it. The only real way to tell is to get it scanned and see how much KR you're getting.
I personally would get the 3 non-producing KR mods first, then the KR producing mod last, of the 4.
What ever you do, just make sure you get the D/P, U-bend delete and PCM if your running a 3.4 Pulley. You'll be amazed at how much power your butt dyno will see.

3.4" alone will work for your low end, won't do anything for your top end. The PCM will work with the 3.4" so it'll pull all the way through the gears, low end as well as top end. The D/P will let it breath better and really wake everything up. I can now spin my tires from a low speed rolling start if I punch it hard, not that I go around doing that... much.
Good luck and have fun with it!!!

I heard somebody say the DHP gives harder shifts.

I liked my Intense (when I had a working one).
I will eventually get the DHP and Power tuner to go with my m90 conversion kit. They say not to use Intense with it. Might be BS but I won't take chances.
