However, I went and found the video again, and I take back what I said. I remembered it wrong. The GTP jumped a little quicker, but the G5 matched it perfectly until 70 or so, at which point it started to pull.

Since I now have both in the family, I'll have to stay out of this... as long as someone doesn't call my GP a GA.

I don't understand why anybody would have to compare a GA to a GP! Persons questioning this, and those supporting GAs have to be thinking: *Smaller is better! *Cheaper is better! *Weaker is better! *Less reliable is better! *I'm a chick! *It gets me from point A to point B!
Seriously.... what are people thinking?

A GAGT is 300lbs lighter and 15hp shy of the GPGT. They are small, but I give them props for effort.

Grand ams are okay but its too small for me. I raced my friends brother 03 grand am in my se and I had him by only a car length.
He swears his grand am goes to 150mph but I told him it doesn't but anybody knows the speed limit on the grand am.

I think the GTs cutout around 130mph and have 3.29 gears. SEs cutout around 105mph and have 2.9 gears. Somewhat the opposite of our GTs/GTPs. The speedos are registered for 150mph in the GTs though (the only thing I dislike about our instrument cluster is the lack of upper range).
