I am gettting my stock rims powder coated a gloss black soon. My only problem is that I don't have any rims to ride around on for the week that it is going to take to get them painted. I dont want to pay for rims that I am not going to use for more than a week. Any ideas would be helpful. The cheaper the better.

A set of Nike's or Reebok's is the only thing I can suggest, sorry. ...but I would like to see some pics of the wheel when you get them back. I've seen a set of powder coated torque stars before, and they looked good.

a friend of mine did them on his Jetta that is the same color as my GP and it looked really good and they come with a lifetime warranty. I just need something to use for a while. Nikes dont have the right bolt pattern.

Go to the wrecker. You can probably get a rim with a weeks worth of rubber for around $15.00. Then resell in local paper for 20 each

$250 for a set of torque stars!? Damn, I want some. Ed quoted me a set of used hipos at $425 bare and I didn't want to make him mad, but that's nuts for used stock rims. You get a better deal on nice used Bullits off a Mustang with tires on them.
ordonez, ours are 5x114.3, but late model Mustang rims (5x115) will work if you're not lowered.

Yes, but Torque Stars are lighter than the Bullit Mustang wheels Originally posted by RooK: ours are 5x114.3, but late model Mustang rims (5x115) will work if you're not lowered. Scratch that... other way around... Mustangs = 5x114.3 Grand Prixs = 5x115
