So i had the zex installed for a day and used it 3 times....the 3 times were fun and fast as hell, but wen i went on the highway n was playing around with it for the 4th time she dies.....yes the same car that was ded a week ago because of the battery but this time its the motor.....she making some weird noises and something internal is real bad.....ill be finding out today probably were exactly its knocking .....be careful everyone with the zex kit ill keep it posted

Isn't NOS for like once in a while use, not for everyday or in your case 4 times in one day. We have it installed on my friends car for about a year now and he sued it about 10 times and no problems. I think that the ZEX it isn;t meant for everyday power only the occaional kill a person at the stop light.

thats wat im thinkin chico had said it should be ok with timing to i just went for it guess it was a bad choice thats gunna cost me a new motor

If you pushed the engine really bad like that, could be the knock that I had, a spun rod bearing, witch will chew up the crank, rod, and beat the hell outa the cylinder wall... basicly cheaper for a engine swap at that point then just a re-build...

I got it from Ed Morad. Awsome to deal with, and highly recomended! Assuming you can do the swap yourself (with a few buddys of course) you should be able to do it for under a grand, mine after all was said and done, about $700 with shipping and everything.

Well I blew mine with cruise on going 80mph, LOL... But mine had a history of it, the piston with the spun bearing has been replaced for the EXACT same problem, so I blaim it on shotty mechanic work, haha

well took 4 days to get here, and took me about 2 days from the time i got the new engine, to pull the old ont, xfer everything i wanted onto the new engine, then dropping the new one back into the car.
