Hi guys I have a 2000 gtp, it has 110k miles on it but I've been taking real good care of it and runs brand new. I have a Borla exaust and K&N air intake kit. Next I want to replace the headers and get new throttle body spacers. I also want to get a transmission cooler, new fuel pump I want to change the supercharger pulley to a smaller size. What else do I need to do so the the engine and transmission can handle the mods?
Also would it be beneficial to install an intercooler on this type of vehicle?

intercooler is always beneficial.

read the FAQ in this area for more info on the pulley drop.

TB spacer is useless.

Transmission cooler is helpful but not needed unless you climb mountains daily or drive 100 on the highway constantly.

Whats wrong with your current fuel pump?

Headers are good but not required if you are only planning to mod to a certain point (ie a 3.4 pulley)

Dont drop pulleys until you have supporting mods.

Do what Randall said and read the FAQ section for important information before touching anything else. Research ALOT before doing it so you know what your doing.

Don't waste your time on a tranny cooler unless you tow which you shouldn't be anyways with a GTP.

^What they said^ and don't bother with the Borla exhaust unless you're really worried about how your car's exhaust sounds. Just go with a downpipe and you and your wallet will be much happier.

180 tstat is a 180 degree thermostat.

It opens sooner than the stock 195 degree thermostat so the engine stays cooler.

You can get one at any local parts store.

No that's not all you need. Those things are generally accepted as the minimum to drop to a 3.4" pulley but all cars are different. You need a way to scan for knock to tell if those mods are enough to drop a pulley.

Also go with the full 3" downpipe that includes a u-bend delete instead of just the u-bend delete by itself.

PFYC, ZZP and a couple others make DPs for our cars. You could even have an exhaust shop custom bend one for you.

And no a highflow cat alone won't open it up much. Only thing it will do is give you the Ubend delete. You still have the choke point above the cat.

They are probably thinking of DUMP pipes for turbos, not DOWN pipes. Downpipes are on lots of car, supercharged, N/A or turbo.

Where is this place you thought you could get it from?

ZZPerformance.com is a good place to get a downpipe.
