This looks like a low-cost alternative to the auto tap. Does anyone have any experience with this software?

Yup, haven't done tonnes with it yet, roads are still to wet, but I bought one about a month ago, works better then expected. Here's a good write up I found about it.

Cheers!

I suppose then that you had no trouble getting the laptop to connect to the car?

Also, did you get the enhanced L67 file or just the basics?

No problems at all, worked right out of the box. Yes i did install the enhanced param's for L67, You'll need that to scan for KR. The interface is a little overwhelming and takes a little time to get used to. Read that link I posted in detail, and then play with it. There more info then you'll ever need.

The thing I really like, is you can setup, go for a boot, and record your session tracking the paramaters you want to view. Then get back to your garage, sit down and watch it play back in real time. Much safer this way.

I rate it thumbsup thumbsup

Hello,

I have the Alex Peper Scan Tool.
I'm happy with it....It doesn't have some of the bells that auto-tap has, but, you can get 3 interfaces for the same price as one interface on auto-tap.
I had no connectivity issues....Other then not following the instructions for intitial start up.
The software includes enhanced parameters for all 3 interfaces....If you choose 1 of the 3 interface platforms.

Later now,
Clint
