well I went to zzp and did some shopping to find out everythingI want for next season is oinly going to cost me about 1400... now that is not installed or taking into account of random things I forgot like I already know I will need new oil, coolant, tranny fluid, and spark plugs but all the major things is about 1400 so all in all with only 2g into the motor I am shooting for low 13's high 12's do you think I can do it with these mods

double roller timing chain kit
xp hot cam
180 drilled thermo
3.25 pulley
shift kit
pacesetter headers with no cat and 3 inch downpipe
cutout
springs #90
42.5 injectors
maybe a 3.0 pulley
edit I forgot ls1 throttle body
pcm tuned
gaterback belt
possibly wideband

I probubly forgot some stuff but that is off the top of my head

think low 13's is reasonable?

Intense will tune them, but they're going to start with a clean slate. I don't know how good they are at tuning, either (they're generic PCMs are thought to be more likely to explode engines than others...).
Also they might not like the fact that you have a ton of ZZP parts and then what them to tune it (they HATE eachother). If I had no morals, and were from Intense, and I hated ZZP as much as I did, I'd be tempted to tune your car wrong, or make it slightly underpowered out of evilness.
Why don't you have ZZP tune it. It'd be worth the drive.

Tuning shpiel:
If you're interested in how tuning works, and can put in the time and effort to do it yourself, get a powertuner. Don't get HP tuners for the simple fact that the powertuner has much better support, several guides, and a whole forum to help you with it (and is cheaper).

Oh, and that looks like a really nice set of mods!

About the wideband... theres no use unless you are tuning yourself. Even then if you just want to tune it to work and not mess around with it, you don't necessarily need it. I don't even have one.

will I was leaning tword gettin hp tuners cause a lot of people I know are going to get it very soon.... Yea the main raeson I would have intense do the tune is because they are a lot closer than zzp is... intense is about 30-45 minutes from here and zzp is in another state... but I may do it myself

Don't you have to remove the balance shaft to run a double roller timing chain?

I dont know Maybe it will say to do so in the intsructions but on zzp's site I do not remember seeing anything about that I just know it is better to run a doulble with #90 springs otherwise it is better to run #105

ok if you go to just the chain parts this is what zzp says

To run the double roller, the balance shaft gear must be removed. To save additional weight the balance shaft can removed altogether but this requires plugging the rear oiling hole. The double roller has a much tighter fit, so the timing chain tensioner is no longer used.

is this ahrd to do or should I just go with the 105 spring setup

I've seen a video on streetfire.net with a guy with a grandprix gt and he had a zzp xp cam and it sounded awesome simular to a camaro or firebird sound from what I heard on the computer.
