what happens when you disconnect the PCM from the car for like a few minutes. does it like lose info or anything. Cause i recently did a fuel filter on my car, and i did disconnect the pcm. i dunno why i really did that. But now my car cranks for a really long time before it will start up. Do i need my case learned or something? please help. would that affect timing at all?

Probably cranked for a long time because it was getting your lines back full of fuel.
Shouldn't keep having that issue.

Unplugging the PCM should not have any effect once plugged back in.

x2.

If you left the PCM unplugged more about 20/30 minutes, it'll just 'erase' a few readings/measurements but once you plug it back on and start to run, the PCM will collect new data.

it could be a number of things, corroded injectors, low fuel pressure, or maybe something in the line. Did you use teflon tape when you put the new filter on, maybe there is a peice that is overlaping on the connector and is inside the line, its really hard to tell unless your throwing a specific code, or unless you have it hooked up to a scanner

Since you disconnected the pcm, I'm assuming you disconnected the battery also. Check you're connections there. My car cranks a little longer when the positive post starts getting corroded again. Clean it up and I barely have to turn the key.

Its possible the PCM could've been damaged. My dad as a service manager at a dealership saw a lot of strange problems like that fixed by reflashing/replacing PCM

Didnt think about that, but if your batter was still connected when you disconnected your PCM then there is a very good posibility that the PCM could have been damaged, you should always disconnect your battery before disconnecting/connecting your PCM
