I just found that the input power requirements for GM OBD II: 5 VDC 5 mA typical. I've just been hunting power supplies and have found only one credible website, so far: www.powersupplydirect.com.

I am interested in other sources, but I wanted to get this information out there.

that may be the obd2 bus standard, but the pcm requires 12V.
