I would like to disable the ABS however when I looked for the Fuse to pull for it I think it was also the same fuse as used by the AC clutch..... So, any other way of disabling the ABS?? 2002 GP GT

Why would you want to disable the ABS?

hahah, under hard braking the abs kicks in and thats not something I like the feeling of.. as if ifs only stopping about half as fast as it should. Now, under snowy or icy conditions oviously abs has its benefits but not on dry pavement... now I'm not sure if mine is over sensitve or if maybe I just brake alot harder than most??

I'll bet you the ABS will stop you faster then if the ABS was turned off. Plus the ABS helps keep the car pointed in the direction you want under heavy braking. Ever watch a brake test of those old muscle cars? Those rear tires lock up and the car goes all over the place. And plus if your activating the ABS on a regular basis your braking way too hard for every day driving. At the track is a different story.

The only time I ever feel the ABS is when I do a brake check or I'm on ice.

Ohh and if you do disable the ABS can you put me down as a benificiary on your life insurance?

Oh and for those who think it hinders performance.

Where do you think ABS and traction control came from?

Many people had problems getting accustomed to ABS breaks. The biggest complaint was that they felt "pulses" and didn't think the breaks were working properly. That "pulsing" sensation is the breaks working properly. I'd have to say leave the ABS as it should be and learn to get used to it. Show me someone that thinks they can break themselves better than a full 4 wheel ABS system and I'll show you an accident waiting to happen. I don't care for the 2 wheel ABS systems, of which the ones I've driven were the rear wheels. I can lock the rear wheels on my Durango in a heartbeat with it's 2 wheel ABS
