hey everybody, I have a slight problem with my car. I can't seem to find my patterns for the Buick STBs that came with them ( I think my kids turned them into drawing paper.) Does anybody have a set of patterns for bolt holes so that I can mark the proper places to drill? IF so, I would be willing to pay you for them to send to me. Please let me know and we can work something out.

TIA!!

why not just set it there and drill through the holes. Thats what i did, just eyeball it.

You dont even need those patterns

+1 Ordonez

It is much easier to install the nuts in your wheel well with the tires off. Make sure you put some silicon on the bolts so they don't rust. Once both sides are loosely installed, drop the car, move it slightly so all load is off the suspension and uni-body, then tighten the bolts, of course when the car is on a level surface.

Kansas is not all Redneck country. I have met more % of city slickers here than in other places the Military has taken me. You must live SW or SE Kansas

the reason I need the patterns is because of my suspension setup is causing rubbing problems with my hood, and I need to make spacers to go between my strut and my fenders

The STB attaches to the Strut towers, I don't believe the fenders are strong enough to mount it to, plus there would be too much flex involved. I bet the fenders may actually bend.

well, sorta, what I need is the pattern that comes with the Buick STBs cause I need the bolt pattern for the struts so that I can make a spacer for the struts. I know it's not the same and it's not an equal distance between the holes (thanks a lot, GM)
