You must remove the wax prior to claying. Otherwise the bar will pull it off as well.

Basically waxing grinds the dirt in. Even though it looks great afterwards. Should bar it then wax it. Be amazed what the bar takes off.

i just got one the other day and i started on the trunk ... were the spoiler sits on the trunk surface there is like black spots like dirt or something right along the spoiler... like where dirt has sat over time and just goten nasty... i was useing the clay bar but it still wasnt coming off... should i just keep scrubing or what should i do about that?? also on my back bumper there is little spots where there is nicks and stuff should i not rub to much around those spots

Under the spoiler is tricky because there is always going to be dirt there. But if you remove the spoiler (a few screws under the truck), you can put a washer on each screw to elevate the spoiler a bit and the dirt will run right under it. If you remove the spoiler you'll be in for a surprise..it's going to be really gross and there might be some rust spots.

As for the nicks, it shouldn't be a problem.
