There is no worries about water with a FWI. Unless you drive through deep puddles. That goes for both N/A and pressurized. That filter disperses the vacuum over a large area. It's not like sticking a vacuum hose right to it. Normal rainy weather will not cause any issues.

When you get out here I'll let you drive mine. Then we'll see how long you can hold the mod bug off. lol

ya know the funny thing? I lost the Beretta in Savannah. Between OCT and DEC 03, I had driven a couple GTs and NO GTPs. Why? I was afraid of the power at the time. The GT was QUITE the step up from a N/A OE Beretta 3100. Only AFTER I bought my GT did I bother driving the GTP. Eh. I made it out to be much more than it was.

BUUUUT...I would be MORE than happy to put some miles on your sled. See where I can go from here, and see if I can sell the idea of more power to my wife.

You gotta play the mpg increase wink

Gotta see how my taxes work out this year. Gotta get the wife new washer and dryer, parts for the bike (gotta get it ready for a cross country ride)and if I have enough left after Im gonna grab a DP for the GTP. Told her it'll help the MPG if we keep the foot off the happy pedal.

I bought the JMB intake off clubgp for $100 shipped. It only came with the pipe, some clamps, the fenderwall black cover, and some screws. I was going to fab up my own pvc, just needed some way to mold it, but I found that deal, and already had the filter and spare pieces, so I worked off the JMB pipe to make the rest!
