well tonight i finally tackled my front valve cover gasket , decided to wait till tomorrow or sunday to do the rear since its more difficult, everything went smoothly except for when i went to take out my battery...but other than that. I painted it red with high temp paint, i was gonna do it two-tone with the three strips being black...but i was running out of time...it ended up take my three hours from first bolt to washing up, mainly since i painted it. It's DEF. a ten footer(paint job)but it looks really good i think, i'll post pics sometime this weekend...just wanted to fill yall in.

I would just do the front one. It would be easier to get a doner, like I did, so you can just swap them after doner is painted. The rear you can't see, only paint that if you are going to a show the car at events. The front is fairly easy to remove.

the only reason i'm painting the rear one will be because i'd no it doesn't match the front...and i think that'd bug me...plus since its coming off for the gasket i figure why not...

Well if it is coming off for that, then yeah do it. I will paint mine just black when I do some rockers.

I was going to say some degreaser would shine that picture right up! Now you just need the mod bug to bite.
