for pcm herc pretty much said exaclty what you can do but a tuner is a bit pricey...as for CAI and FWI its pretty much personaly opinion....some look nice, and suck air from farther away but it doesn't always matter....many people are happy with an open cone intake for $30 which gives the most sound or a homeade CAI for around $50.....good luck!

its a pretty heated debate about the CAI, FWI, or HAI.
I prefer the HAI, its cheap, easy to make, and makes the blower whine the loudest. you have a GT, so the blower whine wont be louder, so its really up to you.

all about the same on gt's.....its really ur preferance for looks and sound (like ordonez said its a very heated subject bout who thinks whats better).... as for you
Looks - chrome CAI piping looks good Sound - Open cone HAI loudest (gt's kinds sounds like a turbo)

I was going with Homemade air intake, but ordonez is right it does deliver hotter air then a CAI or FWI but with a gt its not that big of a deal

So, what in the World is FWI, "Front Wheel" Intake? The other two...I know, but You have got Me beat with that One.

So what would you guys suggest for a GTP? im planning on making one myself just cause it'd be a lot cheaper, but am i gonna miss out on performance? and if i do just a basic 3.5" pully mod eventually will i run into trouble? Plannin on doin the intake soon, with pcm, and form there downpipe t stat and then i should be set for the dropped pully size right?
