Hey, first I have to say that I am a novice when it comes to mods, I've only started getting into them a few months ago when I bought my GP and ran across the GP Store. My GP is a GTX and I'm just wondering about having a cold air intake with the Ram Air... first if it's possible, second if it's worth the $ to combine the two? Also an unrelated question, anyone know the approximate formula to figure out for example, if you add 30 HP at the crank what that translates to at the wheel? Thanks in advance!

Check www.motorsportsperformance.com

I bought my CAI there and I love it. Looks cool, easy install, well made. I remember seeing a CAI with a Ram Air fitting. I don't think the gain is that much with a CAI. Actually is the GTX supercharged cause if it isn't you will notice a good gain but I doubt 30hp. Let me know if it supercharged or not K.

Yeah the GTX is supercharged and I already swaped out the stock pulley for the 3.4 inch. So you are saying if it is supercharged that the extra gain from CAI will be minimal?

No no big gain with a CAI and a supercharger. Cool sound too. Go for it.

So the Ram air plus supercharger will get a further noticable gains with CAI? Sorry I just want to make sure I'm reading you right.

Ya you will. Go for it. Trust me. I was very worried about mods but is an addictive thing. You will love the CAI. It was my first and I love it. Let me know.
