I have a question, I have 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GT and I'm putting 18x8 wheels with 235/40zr18 tires on it and want to lower it a little do you think that the B&G Sport Suspension Lowering Springs are to much for those tires. I wean I dont want them to scrub my fender when I hit a bump or when I turn sharp or anything. The springs only drop it 1.2 inches. Please let me know what you think.

Hello,
If you check the tire size on the Miata site, there smaller than stock. So you shouldn't have a problem. http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

Although I just put Eibachs and Koni's in my '97 With 245/45-17's and it rubs a bit, not too bad though. But it looks like your tires are even smaller diameter than mine.

I wouldn't be too worried unless you have a crazy offset.

C-ya!
