Too much time on some ones hands. I wonder what the final cost would be. Also I wonder if he chose the rear end because it was cheap. I woulda went with a 9 inch myself.

The gm 8.5 inch 10 bolt sucks for rear ends.

Ah sleepers, its a beautiful thing. I still think cramming the V8 in a GP is a great idea, the northstar is definately a good way to go. Do you think a mustang SVT cobra engine would fit? It would sound amazing and go like hell.

gm rears are terrible like herc said.

it might be a sweet car when he's done, but he either has a lot of time on his hands, money, or just done a lot of ass kissin' towards his friends to get them to finish it, if he ever does.

This guy's my new idol. The Northstar is a very cool choice. Rear drive and a six speed in a GP. I know he could've just bought a GTO but the cool factor is very high.

A north star is a good engine if your into grandma cars. if it were me i would use and LT1 with LT4 cam and heads that r ported and polished. and use the 9 inch at the the rear but thats just me.

Northstar is a good engine...if you want to keep it fwd. With the setup he's doing I would have went with an LSx or LTx motor as they have a much greater aftermarket.

I think what this guy is doing is great. Just because he has the time and obviously the know how doesnt mean we should say ' he should have done this ' or why not just buy a gto...........or a gtp........one reason a GTP would be out of the question FWD!!!!!!!
