Im looking for anyone who has one of these installed. I have the ram air hood. I have tied to direct the air towards the air filter but its not as affective as the version sold at PFYC. My questions are
1 does the pcm fit in the box?
2 Is it a good fit?
3 Does it work?

Thanks in advance, Im tryin to figure if my $$ would be better spent elsewhere

I was wondering the same thing. I had a small fire on my GP and I am in the process of rebuilding. I want the F1 hood, and was trying to decide what CAI would be best. I'll keep looking to see if someone who knows chimes in. What style hood do you have ?

A functional Ramair hood won't benefit the L67. A good CAI will do the job. In other words don't worry about trying to make it functional. best bet is getting a hood that will enable heat extraction.

Just had a crazy idea. How bout mounting a couple CPU cooling fans in the heat extraction part of the hood to help pull that hot air out while in slow/no movement?

Thanks for the info, I already have a CAI and althought Ive tried to direct air towards it, I doubt it has any measurable affect. I have the SD ram air hood.Think Ill save the $$$ and spend it on the wife for a change wink

Not as effective as having a switch to manually operate your cooling fans... Much more air being pushed out of your engine bay than a couple CPU fans could pull. Plus you're cooling the radiator at the same time.

I was thinking in addition too. Not in replacement. Like I said crazy Idea. I know that fan pulls some dang hot air off of that radiator. At idle underhood temps go over 150*F. Just a crazy idea to help pull that air out from under the hood.
