Hi, Finally this DIC I bought at eBay arrived, my father helped me to install it, it was real easy, everything was there as some of you mentioned, the digital connector hiding behind the dash, the most difficult part was to disconect the analog DIC, it is easier if you disasemble it and disconected from inside. Now I have a question, the right half of the screen is not as brighter as the left one, does it has two bulbs and one could be worn, or it is like that?? I found this DIY to change bulbs, it mentiones #24 bulbs, are this the same than in the analog DIC?, cause I have one...

take it apart and check, im willing to bet they are the same bulbs

Take it back out and take the cover off of the back. You should see all the bulbs.
I had to replace 2 of the bulbs. The dealer charged something like $7usd per bulb.

I've got no hidden connector... and I've sworn off hacking and slashing on wires, because you never know what might happen!

Give it a try drummerboy it is really a nice upgrade, maybe taking it to somebody with electronic skills, I don't think it should be so difficult for them to rewire, and it looks very good.

Lol, a wiring diagram will tell you every wire you need to cut/splice.

You can get the wiring diagrams on CD (in color) from www.1ezwire.com for SE, GT, and GTP models.

That's a great upgrade Alex! You should let us see it. Good luck with those bulbs, I know some of the little things in our cars can be difficult to fix even though they seem so simple.
