I need some advice here....I have the service engine soon light stays on. I checked the gas cap and it's closed properly. It's damn cold up here (10 degrees) and I don't know if it could be a bad gas or engine coolant not warming enough ? The coolant is at normal lever by the way. Help me here ....

take it to autozone and get it scanned. They will give you a code and then let us know what it is

That could be the same problem I have. I hate to ask question...where do I find the coolant sensor ? Today I went to AutoZone and they said the scna check are only from Monday to Friday.

On the 3800 engine, the coolant sensor is located in the lower intake manifold, just below the thermostat housing. It might have a heat shield tube surrounding the sensor.
