what kinda bulbs do you use ?

just picked up this 97 gt prix and was wondering what kinda bulbs to use to look nice and stand out a little ?

silverstar ultra , cool blue ?

also can you take out that little metal tube piece inside the headlight to make it brighter ?

I like the silverstars, that's what I have, but they are a very white light. If you're looking to stand out a little, cool blue is the way to go. They are pretty bright and have a nice looking blue tint to them.

I don't think you can, but IF you can, don't take out the metal piece. That's what the light reflects off of to make it look brighter!

I have the standard Silverstars. I took that metal piece out. I get a little better light dispersment from doing it. I wasn't disapointed.

ive got knighthawks? they're made by GE i think. i read in car and driver they are the only ones proven to make more light. i like them.

I have SS Ultra's. They were great in my GT, my GTP has a really nasty fogged headlight that's aimed up too far so I can't really comment on that.

They a noticeable improvement over stock, but to get the real deal, go HID. Alot of conversion kits for GPs are attractively affordable.
