i see youll be using the xp hot cam in your l67 are u going with a single or double timing chain?

zzp says that i should go with the double but im guessing that they will make more money type thing...

I went with the single and it's already installed. I also got retainers, 105 springs, and seals. Just get a new chain and dampener. I didn't want to disable the balancer or I probably would have went double roller.

Don't mean to jack this thread but hey rook, is there any way you could get a sound clip of your car...that thing has to sound crazy with headers and cam. I gotta hear it.

Once the engine gets in the car, I'll get my brother-in-law with his camera to record it. Right now I'm still putting the engine back together between work and school.

Benefits of double:
-No dampener to wear out/replace.
-No risk of breakage or skipping.

Double roller will handle more power. But you lose the balancer. The balancer keeps everything running smooth and without it will shorten the life of the motor. Meant more for motors that will be torn down and rebuilt more frequently.
