My car did it again to me yesterday...same deal, not quite as bad as usual. Code came on and it was blinking till i shut the car off. I let it sit for four hours then got in it and the code was still on but not blinking. I got it scanned, it came up as;

P0300,
Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected.

Should i start with the plugs and wires(just got replaced) or maybe coil packs?

~By the way i found those reflective stickers at zzp and ordered some red ones. Along with some decals for my calipers that i'm gonna paint red, they say "supercharged" and "GTP" Thanks for the site.

Plugs and wires replaced? or just plugs? If both make sure all your wires are on tight and none of them are touching exhaust components and burned through. If just the plugs were changed I'd replace the wires.

If that doesn't fix it get the fuel pressure checked and have a compression test done.

the engine is stock, its got a brand new tranny as of last july. i went to an exhaust place and they said it def. isnt my cat that's causing my car to act up, so i think ill try the maf. cant hurt to try if it fixed yours.

are you going to replace it or just clean it? cause their expensive to replace...its simple to clean...takes five minutes after you get the right torx bit...

so you maybe have a small exhaust leak that is hitting one of the spark plugs. I had that happen. A small pin hole in the exhaust manifold was directing gases onto spark plug 1 and I went through a lot to finally narrow it down.
