I've been noticing a grinding noise coming from my drivers side wheels...not sure if its from front or back...but its only when i turn right...it just sounds like my brake pads are rubbing...but not sure...if anyone has any ideas that'd be great... thanks in advance...

Your left wheel bearing is worn out.

that sounds intense...how much would it be to get fixed? or how hard would it be to do myself?

Not hard to do yourself. HERCMAN has a length DIY on his sig page for the hub. You need a couple of certain size sockets, and about $150 to buy the wheel bearing.

Umm...just gets worse before it gets better. I think many ride around for awhile before replacing them.

If you replace your wheel bearing and the noise is still there what could that be?

I have a grinding noise that didn't get fixed by replacing a bearing. Just FYI before you go spend so much money. For the love of your wallet, check them first and make sure one of them is actually bad.

I've got no leads on the noise on my car anymore. smirk

The grinding noise could be a rough brake system. Other than that, I have no clue. Run your fingers along the brakes WHEN THEY ARE COLD and see if you have scoring, gouging, warpage, or excessive wear.

I had the roters turned when I got all the brakes done about 6 months ago. I put on Kumo tires and I wonder if it is them?

i know my rear rotor has groves...cause i let the pads go waaaayyy to long...but i wouldn't think it be them...plus i have slotted rotors and those are expensive!
