friend from work picked up a gtp and i was wondering y both seats get heated with only one swtich...

Only the driver's seat is heated.

thats what i told them but both get heated so im guessing someone spliced a wire or something

sweet, if you figure it out, post a wiring diagram. Its like $200+ for the kit. Kinda cool if they did it. If both seats are heated it would be easy to go get the switch from the stealership and put it in.

Probably just spliced to the switch and bought a second heater for that passenger seat, less work then trying to mount and make look nice another switch right next to the first one.

I think someone, ZZP or otherwise, offered a kit that included a new bezel with two switches for independent heaters in each seat.

yup, zzp, was on their site today, I have seen kits for $200+ and you get a new switch but it doesn't sit right.

Zzp has a kit for $115 that gives you a new plastic plate piece and another switch. To give that stock look.
