Ok this is an on going issue with my car. I had a couple of topics on here within the last 2 months about this. My passenger side blows out colder thatn the driver side. You have to drive for 30 min. to get the driver side to blow out cold air. I have replaced the driver temp actuator (pain in the butt), the ambient air temp sensor, and the A/C controller. None of these have fixed the problem. banghead I just had the system vac'd and serviced last year. If the shop that did my servicing did actually vac the system, and it needs to be evac'd and charged could this cause this problem? Any other ideas? Please help, it's hot in south Georgia.

I was stationed in Hunter for a lil while. Nice area, too bad the King George area was a bit too rich for my blood.

The AC problems, sorry, cant help ya, HOWEVER, there are a few around here that have dealt with that issue before. Good luck with that, and be sure to tell us all the remedy when you finally find it.

If the actuator didn't help then my only guess would be that there's something jamming the door.

I have heard that if the accumulator is used up (can't absorb water) and/or the orifice tube is clogged, it can cause a similar problem.

I replaced the accumulator last fall when I replaced my compressor. I heard something somewhere(probably on here) about how the evaporator could cause this issue. Has anybody heard anything like this?

Did your old compressor lock up? If so, did you replace the orifice tube? It might be clogged with metal shavings.

It did lock up, and no I didn't change the oriface tube. The lines that I had to disconnect are locked up. I didn't want to cut it cause it would've taken me like 2 weeks to get the new lines. That would cause just the driver side to not be cold though would it? I would think if it was clogged, both sides of the air would blow warm air.

first I would look at the blower door (vacuume lines) then I would point towards the orfice tube! Is ur pressures still good in the A/C system?? If the pressure is too low it iwll take longer for the evapurator to function properly

I was reading 36 lbs, which is what it's supposed to be. But what if it needs vac'd. Is it possible the 36 los is not all freon( maybe some air in the system) So that it reads 36 lbs but it really isn't. (if that makes any sense) If the system needs vac'd and serviced could it possibly cause this problem?
