Toughest part is plug six. Your first time allot about two hours. The key to getting the wires off is twist first then pull.

Once you do it a couple times it takes about an hour.

you can do the wires in 30 minutes. just reach back there and do it. add plugs to it and say about an hour.

Plug two sucks for me, 6 is easy. Some of them in the back I use a 3" extension on the ratchet and socket, and I usually use the longer socket. First time will take a novice at least two hours. But you'll learn alot and know how to complete it next time like a champ!

Way to be a man about it...

It really isn't that bad. Just undo the front dogbone mounts, have someone push the car forward while you put blocks under the tires to tilt the engine forward, take off all the wires (buy a replacement set just in case. like 30 bucks from ZZP), feel around for the plugs in the back and take them out, replace, plug in all of the wires, and your done.

Really not that bad at all, you just have to be somewhat nimble. I had one knee on the supercharger and the other somehwhat on the throttle body and i was all hunched over feeling around on the back of the motor. Makes you feel good about yourself once you do it. Or you can just take it somewhere and pay someone to do it....

Plugs and wires are not hard to do. Its a good learning experience. You'll save some money and get a sense of accomplishment when you finish.

To truly "own" a GP, you MUST do a plug swap on your own at least once or you will gain no respect wink

The Delco wires that I just bought had the Dielectric Grease on them. All otehr wires I've bought for hte last 10 years or so never did. The only time I had issues with removing the wires was not even 2 weeks ago when the boots were so old they ripped on me. Dont ask me how these wires will act, they dont even have a thousand miles on them yet.

i dont bother taking the dogbones out. way too much work. dont worry about rocking the motor, it takes more time than it saves. just man up and do it
