sorry to post about this again, im gonna buy some dynomax mufflers and i know the stock exhaust diameter is 2 1/4'' but im wondering if i order 2 1/4'' mufflers or 2 1/2'' mufflers? kinda confused

Are you going with the quiet super turbo or the loud and deep ultra welded? Unless you remove the resonator, you will hardly notice the difference with the super turbos. That was the first muffler I put on my 01 Monte Carlo. We welded them up and started the car. Barely no change. We raised the car and cut out the resonator and then it was better, but not enough for me. Two months later, she asked if I could make it louder, cause that black car deserved a better sound, so I went with the ultra welded.
