This is something I've been curious about lately (IDK why, sometimes these things come out of nowhere).

What If you have a spark plug wire that was larger than the others (EG. all but one are 7mm and one is 8mm)
Would that cause problems?

AND

I was also thinking about what would it be like if one disconnected the A/C hose that goes to the cabin and connected it ito the air box or any aftermarket boxed-in CAI

Larger wires don't cause problems.
Inferior products cause problems.

I've been running 8.8mm Accels for a few years with no problems. I recommend them if you are looking for an aftermarket wire.

I tried running Accel coil packs that I finally gave up on. They've been on the shelf for a few years. Not a recommended product.

Edit: Oops, forgot part 2...... The AC line goes to a heat exchanger with a return line. You would need to include both of those into your build if you were to direct the functionality of the AC into your air intake. All in all, basically senseless since the air needs to be cooled AFTER the charge.... Come up with a with a way to incorporate your AC into an intercooler and you might be onto something.

It won't cause any issues. I have one stock wire and 5 aftermarkets going on my car for about a year now.
Unless you have maybe the PRJ or ZZP ones, and have different combination, then it could throw the cylinders off.

I ran one stock 7mm wire with my 8.8's after one of my 8.8's got burnt grounding out on a heat shield.... No issues with that.

the AC thing would probobly rob more power than it would make.

another problem is the AC turns off at WOT, although you could potentially tune that out. Not sure how safe it is since it may not have been intended to run the compressor so quickly.

i think it only does that on aftermarket PCMs. Not stock ones.

Nope, stock 99 GTP code says disable A/C at 96% throttle, reenable at 80%.
