Ok, I'm considering upgrading my handling as my next mod, but I'm a little confused. Does the GMPP Handling Kit contain the GMPP Sway Bars ?

I was looking at those, and I was looking at ZZP\'S Strut Tower Braces . I'd be willing to pay extra for those if you guys think they are lighter, stronger, and worth it.

I guess just tell me what I should buy, and I'll take it into serious consideration. lol

After this, my next mod will be a new DP probably.

Yes the GMPP handling kit comes with the sways.

I'm confused on those StreetShaker.
Where the stb connects to the bracket via the two bolt heads you see, where are the nuts on the other side to hold it on? It lies flat on that strut tower area.

Good question! Hadn't noticed that... Maybe the bracket is threaded?

Too me, that seems like less support then drilling into the tower like I have it.
The more hardware and bolts used like that, in my eyes, seems like less stregth. More ways for movement and such. Therefore, less productive.

Yeah, if its tapped, doesn't look like much length for the bolt to grab at all. There are other brackets that are raised up off the tower where the STB connects, those seem like they would be comparable to drilling.

Don't spend 90 dollars on brackets when all you have to do it drill a few holes.

You can see the sway bars in the picture of the GMPP kit. They are included. The kit also comes with one strut tower brace, just get one other one used on clubgp or something for the rear (if you want it)

Took me all of 5 minutes to drill the four holes and tighten the nuts to the bolts!

So, you guys think I should just get the GMPP kit (plus rear STB), and not bother with the ZZP STBs?

if you want the aft STB, and I do end up winning the bid for SpeedBuilt STBs, would you like my spare GMPP STB? Never installed, still has a bunch of tape from when I received it.

I bought a pair of nice brushed-finish aluminum STB brackets on clubgp for $10-15 a while ago. Any more expensive than that, and I would just drill it. I didn't want to weaken that area in the future when the car is a rustbucket.

By the way, if you want handling improvement you will definetly want some stiff lowering springs, and low-profile tires/wheels.

I have that ZZP stb you linked to Ace. I like it alot. No drilling or brackets needed. Goes great with their mathching crossbraces
