I did my headers, 02 sensor,PCV and plugs everything was fine except for check engine.Yesterday i changed my o2 extention and changed oil and tranny fluid.I closed up the egr hose with a screw. Now after driving for about 10 mins on red lights car shakes not that much but noticible and it chokes every pther red light.What can it be.Im going to a mechanic tom.Can it be o2 sensor doesnt see the cat so it air flows quick and messing with it?Or whats else can it be.

The O2 sensor before the cat is the only one that does anything. The one after the cat just tells you if the cat is messed up, so I don't think that it would matter what the flow is.

So you did the o2 sensor AFTER the cat. ?

Hmmmm, See now youre getting into modding, where the Aeroforce scanner, That you and R.S. Hutchinson had a conversation about, would come in handy, watch the MAF. and other parameteres.

This is why I have one, Im doing headers/3.4 set up.

You can't delete codes BTW. But watching parameters and keeping an eye on things is awesome.

The aerforce scan gauges can read and clear codes...


And DHP Powrtuners can remove them entirely

You didnt have problems liek that when you did your headers?

No, the only problem I had with my header install was a leaking exhaust and a broken tranny dipstick tube.

whatd you do to the little egr hose?

I removed my EGR altogether and used a blank flange from ZZP to seal it off.
