Upgrading front brakes w/ slotted rotors. Any recommendations for pads ie. ceramic? semi-metallic?

I believe my R1 E-line rotors were cheaper on their website than ebay. I went with Wagner Thermo Quiet pads from Advance Auto.

Unless you are road racing, the E-line of rotors will hold up to street car use. Check this post for R1's response when I asked the difference in their rotors.

Powerslot slots with Hawk HPS pads. The pads are aggressive for stopping power, but they also dust aggressively.

R1 Concepts here also, with Hawk pads. I get a lot of brakes dust also. But this set-up works great, it has saved me from multiple "coulda/shoulda been accidents"
